I went back and brightened the painting up a bit, and subdued the back houses with a glaze. A little better I think?

Caroline, It is not easy to finish those complecated structures. I will be scared. You are so brave and did such a good job. I admire you.. On question, why you made the above buildings darker? In order to let the viewer see the down part, interest center? I think that the upper part buildings get a lot of the sun light too, just far away from us. How about not change the value but only make them less saturated to show the distance? Just one idea. Again, I love this work, the bridge and buildings around it are excellently painted in terms of value, colour, shape, light, texture and details. Very well done.
