Thank you Jon, Im gonna have to look up George Inness. would love to see his works. M. Chomse, you know your right, the trunk is too dark, ill put some soft highlights on it and see how that looks.  Thanks for the suggestion :D

Lovely. The greens are calming, even though the sky might be traditionally interpreted as 'threatening'. There is balance in this universe. I'd like to walk here.

The tree trunk, right foreground, forms an arrow that leads my eye out of the landscape, and that's unsettling.
