WIP - Flemish Technique - Magnolia

Oils, 8x8", For over a month now I have been working on paintings in the Flemish Technique like the old master's used. 1st you transfer your drawing to a very smooth canvas (this one was not prepared as it should have been), Trace the drawing with India ink (artist grade-no sharpie pens), then paint in your values with Bt Umber. This layer is called the Umber layer. Let dry completely.
