Thanks for pointing that out Dee I have seen and used the concept but not reguarly.  Definite get more persecptive etc as I can see by flipping through your life figures.

Thanks Justine. I find the only way to be sure to get the whole figure in is to plan out the placement on the sheet right at the start. On this drawing you can see where I roughly indicated the main outlines, which here I overestimated to begin with, and then kept my drawing within that area. Also there's no substitute for measuring!

Really lovely drawings/paintings love you sense of form I rarely get the whole figure in.
