Hi diane, thank you for your kind comments, most appreciated.
I have reposted this morning....with sun on paintings as they appear very dark on the site .
As an expat ...there is now way that I wouldn't put the crimson blooms in !!
I spent a lot of my child hood out there and went to Nugururu school for a short time.
Thanks for the great feed back, love looking at all the great renditions.
My first attempt has gone to a good home in Dubai...expats .very happy.
This is a lovely scene with great proportions and composition. I would love to see a little more of a teal colour going through the water where the light is coming down the beach to give more interest in the water and perhaps a wee red flower or two on the foreground Pohutukawa tree to give life. Red is always good in a painting. :)
