I loved these as a little girl.. They had magical powers and granted my wishes.. (or so I thought).. I hope you enjoy them as I did painting them.

Magical! You have captured them well, I have fond memories of them but haven't see any in years..........smiles coming your way......: ))
such a peaceful work Manneherrin love the way you've achieved the infusion of light, very beautiful.....
aww Thank you Kim for your encouraging words.
Great imagery Manneherin, You have managed to capture the very essence of how this beautiful little flower exudes life!!!
Thank you Jen. Your words really touched me. Thank you for commenting, I don't take them lightly.
What an enticing painting. Very soft and delicate. In fact made me look them up on web. In my lawn they are treated as a weed and either dug up or poisoned, today I picked off flower heads which had gone to seed and now feel very guilty in doing so as after reading about them in Wikipedia. Thank you for making me like you painting and learning more about them in the process!
A teacher? Thank you Silvana for what you do for the children. It does not go unnoticed. /hug...
They ARE magical Manneherrin! I use them a lot when I teach 'fruits' and I love my students' faces when they find out that they are dispersal agents when they blow all those tiny fruits in different directions...They never actually think that they are many many fruits all together in that white fragile ball....
Thank you Linda..I think I like the more surreal ethereal side of art..Ive tried the realismish side but I find that it bores me just a tad..
