Danielle and Luke on the Beach after Richard Robinson

12 x 12" oil on Belgian linen canvas. Big challenge getting that figure right, I rubbed the hair off twice and it took over two days to complete. I enjoyed this exercise very much. So much to learn from this lesson, thanks RR, a great workshop

The sunlight is so convincing in this painting, Glenys! Love the colours too.

I really like your version Glenys. It is so full of movement and you've got the skin colours very well. The bright green you have added in the sea looks really good, providing a nice compliment to the red hair tie.

I forgot to say that you have create the nice illusion of the round arms as well.  They don't look flat.  Well done!

I like your brushwork and broken color.  Nice painting.
