I can't tell you how I achieved the texture since it was painted in 2000 and laying around the basement since then. I was told that I didn't know how to paint…since I didn't draw…so I just stopped.  I started painting again about 2011.  When I think back, I was probably trying to cover up one perceived mistake after the other. I tend to put on, take off, add more, wipe off, dry brush, glaze, scrape, pour…no rhyme or reason…I paint from memory or from whatever is roaming around my head.  I'm happy you like it…Thanks for friending me. I briefly went on your website….and plan to go back to it later when I can dedicate more time. I did notice several abstract landscapes that a caught my eye. I dabbled in this form but wasn't happy with much of my work…I have kept only one or two but don't want to post them on my page.    I like your bold color and deconstruction of form…also, your life drawing and portraits are nicely done…Have you taken any of the workshops that are offered, and if so, which did you find the most helpful ? Look forward to hearing from you.

Lovely abstract.  How do you create the texture?
