 Thank you very much Jessica for your encouragement!  This was from our twice a month portrait group. We always want to have the setting a little different each time so it wouldn't be just someone setting there. Everyone kind of like the tennis scene of this one, and it is also meaningful for the person we were painting because he does like to play tennis, so I think I will leave it there for the memory of the section, but thank you for the suggestion. As a portrait per say, it is a good suggestion.

His face is full of character, Xiao, so well done!  Lovely brush strokes on his hat, great flesh tones & interesting edges.  Am wondering if the tennis racket distracts a bit from the overall portrait - maybe it's not needed?
