Wow, love this!!! Amazing what you can do with a limited palette! I agree with Dee, very feminine.. and the purples are wonderful! Great composition.. congratulations!

Hi Dee

Took a look and see what you mean by hitching it up.  Going to upload a new photo of it now which will show the bottom of the pear.  Thanks for looking and commenting. There is so much wrong with it I know........... Smiles to you...........dor:))

Dorian, this has a lovely feminine feel and I like colour and those echoing touches of green amongst all the bluey mauvey tones.  Your grapes look like they're almost frosted with light!  I feel I want to hitch it all up a bit so I can see the bottom of the pear, but I also understand why you led in from the bottom with it like that.

Dorian - I'm not great on the computer, but I am trying ! However, I enjoyed your comment on my painting - then by coincidence I looked into the 'blogs' and lo and behold I discovered you live in Maryesther. I live in Ireland, but presently am visiting my daughter here in Destin. I went to join the Plein Air painters in Fort Walton last Wednesday but nobody turned up - it was a very cold day and I didn't have any phone numbers of members so I abandonded the artistic urge and went shopping! I would be delighted to join you if you go out on occasion to paint. Maybe we could get in touch. I have been kept busy while here, presently my son and three grandsons are visiting from New York.
