Dorian, yesterday I went to the countryside and I found the same kind of clouds form like you did. They are soft and without obvious edges. Even the value changes are very subtle. I should observe the nature more to know better.

Your clouds look like insubstantial water-vapour shimmering with different kinds of light - ie what clouds are.  All of them are lovely.
