Now, I thought that I had seen yours!!! So it's your second one! Wow! You are certainly a hrd worker!!!
Thank you Pauline for your suggestion. I have a book that explains it, and years ago I gave it a try and was amazed at my result.
I had forgotten all about doing that. Now I am wondering if after tracing Richards painting on canvas first if I then turned "source" painting upside down and began to paint. I will have to give it a try! Smiles and thanks to you :-)
This certainly is colourful eye candy Dor, I love the way you embrace each workshop with such vitality and liveliness. You say in your note that you are unable to draw what you see, have you ever thought of turning your reference material upside down and painting what you see. This helps because it makes you look at the shape and design of the thing as apposed to what the subject matter is eg, boats buildings etc We do tend to get bogged down with how we think it should look and then lose sight of how it actually looks. Seeing is believing so they say....give it a go, see what you think! :-}}
By George thank you very much! Sending you smiles ;-)
Vivid colors, no mud, well done Dorian!
Thank you very much Ruby for saying that and for the vote! Smiles are on their way ;-)
