Dor, what a happy bird, what a full tummy it has, must have been some good fishing on the day you painted him or her.  I don't mean it is too fat, just means it looks real healthy and solid and rounded, I agree with your other commentors, the light on the feathers and the background is just right.  I hope Richard gets to comment on it for you.  Great colours as usual in your works.  Johnathan Livingston Seagull is worth looking at just as the book by Richard Bach is worth reading --- how long does it take?  Fifteen minutes?  Your painting is just as inspiring!!  Glad your computer didn't crash!

Great title too! love the album, Neil Diamond wasn't it! Haven't read the book......
