I saw your Rock and it was not your best work........went back today to see it again with fresh eyes and it had flown away!  ha ha!  I tell you, I worked on this rock everyday for a week with millions of interruptions and bad things happening! What I don't like about my rock's is I think my shadow side should be a half value darker but it is too late now. :((

Peacefully beautiful!!!  I always admire that you make a painting so harmonized by the presice control of the value and colour relationship in a ease way. This one is a good example.  And it seems so easy. I finally labored out mine and after I uploaded it I found that I did nto finish my bridge as I was so consentrated on that difficult rock. I felt gulty and deleted. Today, I retourched my painting.  The rock was so difficult for me and I almost destroyed it. So sceary. I will upload it tomorrow. Now you know why I admire you. You can simplify complcated situation in a easy way. Smiling...
