Hi Nancy
http://watersolubleoils.forumotion.com/ here is a place to begin learning about them...........Each brand is different and behaves differently..........good luck.......... Yes they are oil paint (but with an additive that makes them water soluble and you can use water to thin.......
Nancy I love them. I will never go back to traditional oils! I use the Windsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour, because this is the brand sold in my local store using their 50% off coupons. From what I read on Wet Canvas a lot of people prefer other brands because this brand is stiffer then most. I use Artisan linseed oil, Artisan thinner or Walnut oil to thin with. I use water and dish soap for clean up. Smiles to you dor:))
Hi Dee
You make me so happy! Thank you so much........smiles to you Dee...........dor:))
Exciting stylised approach and sophisticated colour. Those stripes are fab! I like it a lot Dor. Keep experimenting...looks like you're having fun : )
Dor. . . be it apple or cherry, the color and reflected light are very nice.
Of course, I knew that...........smiles all the way to you.............: ))
LOL Oh well - perhaps that's called 'interpretation'!
It was supposed to be an apple LOL............dor:))
