Dor, this painting is jewel-like. Your colors are lovely as is your brushwork. Who knows what time would have done to it? Just figure how much you learned with the struggle and what you will do from here. Good for you in seeing it all the way through. Big smiles to you!

Dorian, you should be proud of your work! no shame comes from putting what you love about art on canvas. Just keep working at it. There is a masterpiece inside you somewhere just waiting to come out. In the meantime enjoy the journey.

Hi Dorian,  Your painting is inspirational.. I mean that my own sits on my easel (having missed the workshop deadline) due to my own misgivings on abilities to tackle such a landscape.  But now that I have seen your painting (how the colours glow! Wow!) and read the comments below, I feel more confident.  Sorry to go on about myself, but the value to me of workshop participation is learning from one another and seeking out like-minded participants when self doubt creeps into my artistic soul,   Thanks for sharing your painting.  It beautiful.
