Thank you so much Marianne! Sending you smiles.....................
Very nice.
Thank you very much Idan! I should have cropped the picture and done away with that right side (mess).........dor:))
dor - i forgot for a minute you were going to that - you will no doubt be amazed at the way people will take you under their wing! - everybody starts sometime and you just need miles and miles of paintings under your belt ..and that takes time and perseverance...and i'll just bet you there will be lots of helping hands and encouragement because every person there - believe me- has been where you are! it's all about the journey!!!
Hi Catherine
We just have to get a lot of painting mileage behind us. I think the next workshop will be a still life with a glass container. I'll be going to the convention in Las Vegas and already know how out of place I will feel. Long ago I remember hearing that if you are a beginner you must start with the basics and that is doing still lifes. What did you paint in your class? Smiles to you.......dor:))
Hi Dor, Im back .... just finished a workshop with a local artist (David Langegin) he's fabulous ... The workshop helped a bit, but made me feel even worse an artist after seeing everyone else in the class painting .... So im back to learn more basics. I really like your oranges here Dor. Looking forward to the next workshop (any word on if its another still life?)
Hi Dorian. I see you used water Mixable oil on this one. I use it too-I love it! The background in your painting is wonderful compliment to the foreground objects. You go babe!
see what i mean about painting a lot???...my hubby has been so supportive and that helps...he loves to cook..thank heavens...getting ready to post another of my "grand" paintings...
Thank you Susie..............have been to your blog thank you so much. Went all the way back to the ballet shoes and then something happened and I got kicked of or something. I have you bookmarked. Wonderful Blog, I just love it. You sure have been productive. I admire you!...........Smiles............dor:))
