That sounds like a bit of a dream, actually! Wowsa!
I always find painting outside to be a strong, memorable experience - and you're really face to face with art making - more important than the immediate results, perhaps?
Thanks, Jon! It's even more of an effort when you drive 2.5 hours, load everything for painting including camping gear on your bicycle and board a ferry, then cycle around to your painting locations each day. ; ). It was a lovely trip. Four plein air paintings in 4 days, and only one is half-way decent. I've learned to look at it like fishing in unfamiliar waters. You might get lucky, but at least try to enjoy being out there.
It's an effort to get out! - it always nice to see folks doing it - cheers me up!
