Thank you for the props! This subject has been photographed and painted from ground level, thousands of times. I decided to create this birds eye perspective from memory! As I spent countless hours, fishing and playing at this site when I was a child, I was able to get the proportions pretty close. Since there was no photo to work from, I had to spend a lot of time on studies. My friends, who are familiar with this site which includes the family that lived in the converted mill, have been quite surprised. The studies are the key!!
