Guess I should have cleaned and waxed it first lol.   I took 30 coats of clear and months in between coats for final sand and polish.

This table was made from beautiful plywood.  I carved the edges and filled them in with body-putty and sanded it smooth.  then I painted the Angel and border.  Hard to see it in the picture but the woodgrain shows through the Angel.  I have a book of angels that I used for reference.
