Oils on board. 30x40cm. This is Peninsula Valdés, Chubut Province, Argentina. Declared as one of the World's Heritage Sites since 1999 by the UNESCO.It is an extremely pristine area where Sea lions and sea elephants have their colonies and where the Right Whale goes every August to reproduce. It's an incredible and unique place.
Richard's Workshop cliffs reminded me of those cliffs and that is what I wanted to paint!!

Thanks Eibhlin! Very kind of you to share your opinion. It is always very useful!
Lovely work, Silvana!
A beautiful painting of cliffs in Argentina. Glad you painted the scene you wanted. Smiles headed your way, and will wash up on the shore :)

Lovely painting, Silvana! Doesn't look like an easy subject, but you've done an excellent job!
Thanks Ian!!! I suppose it'll have to be a HUUUUGGGEEEEEE whaaale!!! ;) !!! It's actually around 16-19 m in length, with the tail about 5m from side to side. Being the sea lions(female) about 3 m, I suppose you are right!!! Thanks for your thoughts!
(Just in case anybody is interested about these whales which I love...)
:) Hope you got the celebration you deserve!! ;) !!!
Thanks for the Birthday wishes Silvana !
Glenys, that is really a beautiful compliment! It's such a beautiful and natural lplace full of energy but serene in its own way. I am glad you can feel that!!
