Hello Richard, thank you so much for your comments and suggestions, very encouraging, I am thrilled thank you.  Now I need to find time to go down to my studio and get out my paints again.

Yeah that's annoying - takes the joy out of it for me. Give it a coat of gesso first, let it dry, then paint on it. Much better.

Great work all the same though. Frame it!
