Hi Joy.  Thank you for the comments on the painting!   Yes, probably should have had more varied greens for sure.   I pretty much painted this as what was shown in the photo reference.   The pond did extend forward a bit farther but where it was spanned by a little bridge that was removed after seeing that it pretty much dominated the scene.  Anyway, I think that I'll let this one be and take what I learned into the next painting.  Thanks again for your observations!
