Wow - you have a budding artist there Diane. I did a wee 'painting workshop' with my grandchildren last school holidays when we were all together for a week at a lodge at the foot of the Ruahine Ranges. They loved it so I have bought the older ones a cheap easel and some paints and boards for christmas. Some were not too bad and now point out to me great cloud formations or a lovely sunset and want to paint them so think they will enjoy their presents when they get them.

I had my almost eight year old Grand Daughter to stay today and she always wants to paint with Grandma so I gave her our exersize, with a few pointers about light warm and cool. This painting blew me away but what amazed me more she drew it as a mirror immage of the picture I gave her!!
