i like the sense of depth.  it does feel unfinished, however.  but the feeling is expansive and light flooded.  i'm attracted to the vague forms in the background.

Wow!!!! this is really beautiful! First the colours are really eye catching, but i also really love the way you're kind of playing with that line between drawing and painting, it really helps us understand the texture of the bark on the trees. You also treated the bark and ground differently which really helps the trees to jump out adn gives them a lot of weight and life. we feel that the trees are very well rooted!

I wonder what would happen if you added more of that forground blue colour (on the ground) under the background trees (dead centre painting) to help lead your eyes off centre right (towards the purple). It would have to be really subtle. The reason i say this is because those trees are dead centre but they seem to be floating a little, adding some of that blue colour from the forground (like a shadow) might help ground them a little more. Or maybe you need to cool the yellow of those trees a little, it might help them settle back a bit further.

Those are just suggestions, i could be totally wrong.
