Richard, your painting is wonderful, so full of golden light and brushstrokes.  

I tried to get this wonderful light but failed to do so but I keep on painting and hope I will do a passable job of it in the end.

This is going to be wonderful! Richard, your are right about "brush miles".  So often I turn to a book or illustrations for the answers rather than sitting down and playing with drawing, colours and composition, forgetting that the actual learning comes from doing.  I've experienced a tremendous improvement in my work since joining your workshops. Thanks for the boost in confidence.
