This was a wedding gift of the grooms land. This was done from a photo....the challenge to me was, there was nothing there! LOL 11"x14", oils

That is so cool ! I always wanted to move around...
Right now, I have a show coming up, and I am going to put Winter Rains, and Moonlit Marsh in it, along with another painting that I can't photograph due to the glossiness of it.... I have gold paint in it plus lots of gloss medium - the light bounces all over when I try to photograph it. Anyway it's called "Black Hole Sun"
Which is the thunderhead you are talking about??

Thanks Holly. Did you see the big thunderhead painting I did? We were in NM last monsoon season at Elephant Butte SP. For week I took a zillion photos of the evening thunder storms. I had visions of doing a series. LOL After I did that huge cloud with all the problems, I did not do another one. It is easy for me to get side trackted because before I can get to something planned, we move to another place and I see something else of interest. What you working on now? Ro
