I've made a few subtle changes to this painting...the dark part of the tree looked too much like a shadow in the first one and that purple was screaming at me. I would delete the first one but then I would lose all your comments

Congratulations. I love your bold use of colour in what is a reasonably monotonal true to life photograph. Great artistic imagination. Looks like a much more fun place to go than the actual photo. Game on now for the next exercise. It is both challenging and fun:)
