oh, I do see it now, thanks for pointing it out. Yes, I agree to get rid of other stem leading to nowhere...I am discovering as I paint mine, that this is not an easy feat at all!! :)

Nice copy of Richards Rose photo skilfully executed, though the background rose steals some of the foregrounds glory I feel. But thats what personal taste is all about !
Thank you Sharon for your critique. If you look carefully, you will see there is a stem underneath the front stem that is in the center of the rose. I don't remember the reason I put another stem on top of the central one, but I will remove it. It is a little miss leading. Thanks.
critique... the stem is not in the center of the rose but I love the light on the cloth.
