When I saw the painting, I thought that it must be a scene of Spring. I check the tittle, yes , it is Spring. Elizbeth, you captured the essense of that season and finelly expressed. Very nice.

Larissa Thanks for the comment. The steam is a run off of a spring fed lake in a field. That is why it has all the light in it in the background. I loved the feel of the light so I didn't enhance the trees to block the light. Thanks for looking at the painting I will paint some others or even this one as the trees fill in with leaves.

Very nice spring light green color. But I guess the background is not finished, it looks a little bit plain, nothing is behind the rare trees. Maybe you need to show some trees a little bit deeper.... But I like you choose those colors in acrylic.
