What I lost in the drawing I think I gained in the colour values following Richard. Richards composition has more horizontal layers due to the cloth over the edge of the table so I learnt about composition. My first attempt was a bit of a macro vision an not as looser. Richards composition lets more light and atmosphere in so more natural.

Following along with the demo sound like an excellent idea. I think I'll try it.
Thanks Casey. That big brush helps with the shapes and loosness. My biggest frustation is trying to fix things then losing everything underneath. Don't let that frustration get the better of you, really I think what you have done stands out.
This has a wonderful loose feel to it, Justine. I like the solid, almost geometric aspect of the oranges and the pot.
