Remegio, I thought the tree reflections were fine. You showed reflective color of the trees in "moving" water. The water appears moving because of the many light color reflections - so the trees would not show up as seeing a more tree shape reflection. /// Why not just add some more rocks of smaller sizes for variation. I just noticed how you correctly lost details on the rocks farther back in the distance in the river. Good effect. Ro

Thank you again Roena for this very insightful comment of yours on this painting. You really have the eye of a good artist. When I was doing this painting, I already realized the sizes of the rocks on the left of the river: they are almost look the same size. I never cared revising them. You are very good, you spotted them. About the reflections on the right, I need to work on it because the trees reflection did not come out right. The same thing with the shoreline on the right. Thank you very much, this is really enriching.

I see you are not afraid to use color. Good. I liked the yellow in the sky and your rocks on the rocky mountain are well done. Try to make things as irregular as you can. For instance, the rocks in the river on the left are really close to being very similar in size. The white light reflections on the distant part of the river look good (broken up and irregular). The reflections along river on the right need to be "facing you" as if a rock was sticking out in the water. The reflecting long white line does not appear to be the way light would be hitting the in's and out's of the water on the shore line. The jagged lines breaking up the edge of the water / shore line will help the river lay down. Likewise, if the path were more irregular on the sides with grass and dirt making > and < points sticking into the path, it will make it lay down. To me, the more "messy and irregular" you can make things in nature look, the more natural they will be. Nice work on this one. Ro
