Freddie my Blind friend.

19" x 23" Acrylic on canvas. It took me some time and many layers to do this painting. Would appreciate any comments of improving or adding to this painting. I took the photo and loved the idea of doing a painting of him.

I will do that.I ended up giving the painting to the lady who owns the little dog.He pasted away the very day I finished the painting. Thank you for your valued comment. :-)

Little Freddie is adorable and you rendered him beautifully, love the fur. His eyes bother me a bit. I know they need to be opaque to be true to his blindness, but I'm wondering if they could be warmed a bit with a foggy indication of the pupils rather than solid and blue?? It's obvious you love this little guy.
