15"x15" oil on canvas. Colours used were UL Blue, Cad. Red lt, Cad Yellow lt. Yellow Ochre, Titanium White. Gamblin's Phthalo turquoise used to emphasize shallow waves reserving UL Blue to describe deeper sea. Waves have a touch of Yellow Ochre greyed somewhat. This composition leads the eye in an "s" curve from the bottom of the painting pausing to examine the story of the rock formation along the way to the midground beach and cliffs beyond; The viewer then moves over to the right where the softened midgrey cliffs open to the far distant bay and ultimately to the atmospheric greyed distant hills.

Nice job Gina.  I appreciate your remarks below the painting, showing your plan to create the viewers eye movement.  Your design is good.  The rocks and ground give a carved look to the painting.
