If I may comment? My eye is strongly drawn to the light background. Did you think about adding a little light on the water to draw me back to the foreground geese? It is a soft and beautiful painting. I love the background.

ok, so I am new to oil painting.....it will take awhile for this old watercolor guy to catch up...........
