Thank you so much, Li. I am so happy you appreciated it. I had to work through my critical mind and struggled to finish it to the point that some of the fruit started to mold...big time. :-). It didn't look right to me until I saw it after the upload. By the way, I love your painting. I know I said it before, but it's worth saying again.

Thank you, Dana. I'm so glad you recognized the bowl as silver. The way I did it was,first to do what Richard said, and think of what I saw reflected on the bowl as puzzle pieces. Beyond that, I thought of it as a mirror that reflected all the light cast on it. Hope that helps.

Nancy, I allways amazed by your landscape work. I think one thing, to me, is that you can skillfully handle the relationship of those colours you applied.  You interpreted the glass jar and silver bowl in a solid and firm way . The design makes a silent subtle contrast  to those soft items.  You know how to creat a warm glowing and you did light effect so well. Very good job. Li
