Yes, i have to agree, after I photographed it and looked at it with a new eye, the water is too blue, i was trying to get the color variation in the photograph.  It does detract from the boathouse, which is supposed to to be the focal.  Thanks so much for your input !

Wow Catherine, I just love your forgound.  All those different coloured pebbles, great job.Very nice painting, the water is mabey a little too blue, it is now competing with the red roof of the boatshouse, but the mountains look great.
