Thanks very much Le and Pauline for your nice words. Colorado river pass through. My painting is actually a composition in which I used multiple photos, impressions, light and shadows, eagle, etc Glad you like it. Yours George

Wow, what a powerful beautiful color! George, I like your mountains structure, especialy at background ones , they are realy like the Grand Canyon I saw in the photos. I like your burning sky and that well done eagle flying freely. I have never been there, I do not know whether they have a river like this but I love it and very nice work of the reflection in the river. Wonderful work.

That's correct; I used these intense colors in purpose to increase the contrast and get deepness. The morning light is reddish and so is the earth. Glad you like it
