Hi Susie, sorry for the delay... it likely would work, although probably not as well as if you were to exclude most of the air. Give it a try though [and let me know?].... cheers!
thanks hazel!
one more thing...would it work if i just put a big piece of tin foil over the box and put that in the freezer?..if i found room?
wow - i'll try it! - i use a glass palette inside the box - maybe i can take that out! thanks!
If you can take the palette out of the box and wrap it with tin foil.... yes, it really does work - I've been able to use paint which was in the freezer for weeks!
edith - i have one of those wooden fold up boxes that holds my pallette..it's not completely air tight when i close it -i'm not sure i could find room in my freezer for it...i've heard of it before = and so it really woks?
Hi Nancy & Susie.....
Go ahead and put out plenty of [oil] paint.... top tip [which you probably already know]: cover your palette tightly with tinfoil and keep it in the freezer. Your paint will stay fresh and easy to use!
you go girl!!!!!
