Hi Natasha, thanks for your ideas.  I think the scaling suggestion is good.

I am using mainly Archival oils, but also use Art Spectrum.  I have had various tutors recommend either brand.

I like the seagulls, however, they may need some scaling.  If they were quite a bit smaller and with a bit of fine tuning, they wouldn't detract so much from your main interest.  What brand of oils are you using?

That was my first attempt at seagulls, I might just paint them out.
