Guinness
Acrylic on canvas 16"x12". This was an experiment to paint a black dog on a black ground. Guinness was my son's first dog and a great favourite.

To be honest, the idea of a black object against a black background came first came first and I was wondering what on earth I could paint when I realised that Guinness could be what I was looking for.
