30 cm x 30 cm, Oil, Pleinair

"Good color observation today but questionable whether you really needed to drive 20 kilometers for this"
Mind your own business and come up with a title for it!
"Hallo Berlin"
Haha, don't be silly. That has nothing to do with Berlin. So?
"Hallo Berlin"
Forget that. Serious now.
"Hallo Berlin"
SHUT UP!!!

Thanks a lot Susan, for adding a piece of art to this. I have to admit that i have my difficulty to really enjoy the beauty of peotry in English. Simply because I struggle with the vocabulary and therefore also to read it in the natural rythmic fashion. Shedding, blight and mole were the words I had to look up... I enjoy the poem now :-)

Love the colors. You could name it after the Edna St Vincent poem 'Far from the Forest'--her lines fit this lovely painting:

Branch by branch
This tree has died. Green only

Is one last bough, moving its leaves in the sun

What evil ate its root, what blight,
What ugly thing,
Let the mole say, the bird sing;
Or the white worm behind the shedding bark
Tick in the dark.

Nice piece of BARK Thomas :)  Lovely brushwork, as usual.
