16x20" acrylic on canvas. This is a longhorn from my uncle's ranch. It was really fun being loose and tight at the same time. There was so many great reflections in the white hair on the shadow side! I am enjoying studying your hard and soft edge approach to this painting. He looks so wonderfully dimensional because of the focus on edges, the soft painterly background and the light on Lobos mke your painting sing. He looks wary to me. I wouldn't trust him to remain a gentleman. Don't fix the eye, its a part of his character. He is giving the "stink eye" :D
