Same subject, this time workin on my highlights. I have always been shy of putting too much highlight on my still life but I received such a good explanation regarding highlights from Michael J Severin that I had to give it ago again, it still might not be sharp enough but I can see a big improvement. Thank you Michael.:)

Sharon, thank you for your criticism, I am still learning not to be shy of "highlights".

Sharon, I think you painting has nice colors, although I find the vase opening a bit too open.

Sorry, I could not find the blue bottle painting.

I love the lemon highlight, the orange might have too much white.  If you used a lighter orange hue mingled in with the white... how would that look?  ps... is that a blue lime?  :)  and what do you think about my orange/pears/vase and blue bottle painting?
