Hi Pieter , this is a very beautiful landscape.Nice composition , great colour work and brush work. I believe I could go on a rant about how the buildings are set in such wonderful contrast with the trees , and blues on the distant hill , and the yellow in the center of the plain is a stroke of genius , a masterpiece in quality workmanship and design!

I could go on but it is sufficient to say Thank you !!

Beautiful example of a loose foreground , is it done with a palette knife or a large brush ?

Really like the way you capture so much interest in a wide open space Pieter. Lovely!

It has a "watercolor" feel to it - but I believe its oil - that gives a lovely feeling of lightness and light
