Thank you very much Laura and Silvana! This place is near Eilat which is about a four hour drive from where I live. It is in a park at Timna and there were a lot of these ibex (mountain goats) the day we were there. The tree is an acacia and they usually are umbrella shaped like this with very twisted trunks. I used water soluble oils. The colors of the desert are restrained but very beautiful!

Very nice  Jessica! Is this scene near where you live? It so really represents the desert! Is it acrylics?
