Hydrangeas
Thought I would add some of my recent hydrangea paintings. Quite formal in comparison to the others posted but I do have trouble freeing-up.

Thank you Diane for your comments. Yes, I agree it is great to see other interpretations and styles. I must say hydrangeas would have to be one of my favourite flowers to paint. Am struggling with roses at the moment!

It is beautiful Valerie. Yes formal. whats wrong with formal.I love your flower heads and the beautiful light effects you have achieved also the background is amazing with its vague shapes of the flowers and their colours. I love this site to see and learn from others interpretation of a subject.
