Yes, you are right about the people on this site.  Everyone is very friendly and encouraging. Some of the people here are experienced and are very good.  Their critiques are always very helpful. You are among friends here. Happy painting!

I joined with the last workshop although I've been a fan of Richard's for awhile.  I have many of his videos. I love how supportive everyone on this site is and I find the critiques especially good for learning--I think it's rare that you find a group of people so willing to help and doing it in such a pleasant way!
