Original oil painting by Jeri McDonald, 28x22 stretched, oil primed cotton canvas. I textured this canvas first with Gamblin's oil ground to give it more character. My vision was to create lots of textured clay pottery with a complimentary color palette of warm earthy red orange and lime greens. I love the look of the Spanish pots and tile rooftops all around this part of California. Palm trees, farmland and Spanish themed homes are a subject I enjoy painting. This one is for my dining room.

Thanks Anne! That was my goal to make them glow with reflected lights. This was a fun but challenging painting and I'm glad I finally used that canvas!
