I did try a liner type brush, but I believe Joy, my paint is not thin enough...as you can see, I have a hard time working in thin paint :)

I agree with the figure...not quite right. I have never figured out yet how to paint small objects. The paint doesn't come off the brush the way I want....too thick and gloppy...something with the consistancy of the paint or not the right brush?

The Texture of the tree is exciting ! I like the leaning to abstract style of your painting. The figure needs some attention to his face and neck position, very difficult to do an over the shoulder look.
